In a precautionary effort to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19, commonly known as the coronavirus, in Sonoma County and the state, Sonoma County Department of Health Services (DHS) and Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE), are recommending that Sonoma County school districts temporarily suspend in-person classes through at least March 27. Please see attached communications. The Old Adobe Union School District will follow this guidance and will suspend classes through March 27th. We will be evaluating the length of this closure, along with other districts throughout the county, and will be announcing any changes after meeting with the Sonoma County Department of Health on Monday, March 16th. Our staff will meet on Monday, March 23rd to prepare at-home learning opportunities for students during the suspension of in-person classes. Please be advised of future communication as to at-home curriculum and other support services for students coming soon. Please be safe, follow health officials guidance, and monitor communications from your school sites.
