  • PEF Helps La Tercera Soar Through a Series

    La Tercera students are Soaring Through A Series with over $10,000 awarded by the Board of Directors of the Petaluma Educational Foundation to support our book series initiative, book lending stations and Lucy Calkin Units of Study for Teaching Reading. This grant supports our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) work in reading comprehension and provides us additional tools and ways to reach our site and district reading goals for every student in our care.

  • Registration Has Begun: First Cut-Off is February 28th

    Please call our friendly office staff at 707-765-4303 anytime between 8:30-3:00pm to schedule a tour of La Tercera, a STEM Elementary School. Tours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am. La Tercera will hold a Parent Information Night in our state-of-the-art Science Lab on Tuesday, January 30th, from 6-7:15pm. Please come meet our PTA, teachers and principal who will share with you our curriculum, community events and dynamic STEM focus with a tour of our makerspace available if you are interested. Important information for you: Students who turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2018 are eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2018-2019

  • Girls on the Run Coming starts 2/12th - Interested in Helping out?

    Using the power of running and being active, girls learn important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, goal-setting, conflict resolution and healthy decision making. Beginning September, young girls can participate in an exciting, new running program at La Tercera. Girls on the Run is a fun after-school program for 4-6 grade girls that meets two times per week for 10 weeks. At the end of the program, all girls participate in a non-competitive 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk event as a final personal challenge for the season.
