The Old Adobe Union School District Student Services Department oversees the long term planning, coordination and evaluation of programs including of Special Education, Home and Hospital Instruction, Homeless and Foster Youth, School Counseling, School Nursing, Attendance and Engagement, Positive Behavioral Supports and Discipline, and Wellness.
The Student Services Department values family and school partnerships and teamwork to bring out the best in every child. The Department is committed to collaborative decision-making and continuous improvement to ensure learning, academic and socioemotional growth for all students. Department staff work passionately alongside teachers, staff and families as compassionate advocates for students and their wellbeing.

This is where you can find key information on things such as immunizations, oral exam requirements, and communicable disease guidelines to help keep your child safe and healthy.
Students enrolled in Old Adobe Union School District that develop a temporary health issue lasting from three to eight weeks are eligible to apply for Home and Hospital instruction.
School districts are responsible for ensuring that youth who are experiencing homelessness have full access to educational programs in accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
The OAUSD School Counseling program plays an integral role in preparing and assisting students to be successful, lifelong learners.
The OAUSD Special Education Department serves students with identified disabilities through a continuum of programs and services.
We are excited to share that the Old Adobe Union School District will be utilizing the YouthTruth survey with our students in grades third through sixth, families and staff! The survey will provide insight into the current experience of our students and educational partners.
