Citizens Oversight Committee

We are currently accepting applications from interested citizens to serve on our District’s independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee who meet, review, and report on expenditures of the General Obligation Funds of Bond Measure L approved by District voters in the November 2018 election. The commitment includes about 2-3 meetings annually and is a great way to be involved with our District. 

The application packet and more information can be found here. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on January 17, 2025, and the Board of Education will appoint new members of the Committee by the end of January 2025. 

We have been analyzing facilities’ needs, upgrades, and beautification projects at all of our five schools as a part of our Facilities Master Plan. We have facilities projects in process at Miwok Valley Elementary Charter School and Sonoma Mountain Elementary Charter School and are in the preliminary planning stages for facilities improvements at La Tercera Elementary School. The Citizens’ Oversight Committee will review these facilities projects and more.
