• Regarding 24/25 Enrollment

Our program size is wholly dependent upon staffing; enrollment cannot be guaranteed.

    24/25 Enrollment Update

Intent to Enroll forms for the Kids Care Expanded Learning Program 24/25 will be available to the greater school community and incoming families at 10am on Monday, April 15th. At that time, they will be available on the website here to print or to fill in digitally, and they will also be available in hard copy at each Kids Care program. Site Managers will be on site at their program to assist. Forms retrieved from the website may be submitted in hard copy or via email. If you have trouble accessing the forms online, please email your school's Kids Care Site Manager to let them know.

A completed form will place your family on a waiting list in the order received, within enrollment priority categories set by the State of California. THE INTENT TO ENROLL FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHILD(REN) A SPOT IN THE PROGRAM.

    The Enrollment Process

The Kids Care enrollment process begins in the spring of the prior school year. At that time, families interested in enrolling in Kids Care will be given the opportunity to submit an Intent to Enroll form. Completed Intent to Enroll forms should be submitted to the Kids Care Site Manager at your child’s school of enrollment. A completed form will place your family on a waiting list in the order received, within enrollment priority categories set by the State of California. THE INTENT TO ENROLL FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHILD(REN) A SPOT IN THE PROGRAM.

On the Intent to Enroll form, you will be asked to provide the below information to help determine your child(ren)’s priority category and any applicable fee waivers under ELOP.  You will also be asked to complete a Household Income Data Collection Form.

    • Is your child receiving foster care services

    • Is your child a designated English Learner

Because the Kids Care program size each year is dependent upon staffing, THE INTENT TO ENROLL FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHILD(REN) A SPOT IN THE PROGRAM. You should not presume enrollment until you hear from your Site Manager and are provided an official enrollment packet. We regret that we are unable to offer a spot to every child in need of care.

     Program Fees

    Kids Care Fee Explanation

Monthly fees are calculated based on the total number of 180 school days divided equally over 9 monthly installments (August/Sept-May/June). The rate remains the same for each month. Fees are not prorated-- in other words, there is no additional fee charged for months with more school days and no reduction of fees for months with fewer days, including those that include Fall, Winter and Spring breaks.

Program fees for the Kids Care Expanded Learning Program are subsidized by the ELOP grant for the following students:

    • Students who are experiencing homelessness

    • Students who are in foster care

    • Students who qualify for Free and Reduced-priced Meals

    Due Dates

Beginning in September, Kids Care fees are due the 1st of each month for that month. Failure to pay fees may result in students being ineligible to attend the program until all fees are current. Please speak with the Kids Care Site Manager or the Director of Child Development if you have any questions, need to discuss scholarship options, and/or would like to request a payment plan.

    Refund Policy

Refunds or adjustments will not be made for changes to or withdrawal from the program, absences, illnesses, holidays, vacations, natural disasters, emergency school closures, public health emergencies, or suspensions. All payments are non-refundable.

Kids Care now accepts Visa/Mastercard payments through Tuition Express. For more information on paying by debit/credit card, speak with your Site Manager or call the Child Development office at 707-765-4366.

    Additional Forms

    Registration Forms

A separate Registration Form is required for each child who is accepted into the Kids Care Expanded Learning Program.

Registration forms are required for all students enrolled in Kids Care Expanded Learning Programs. Please complete both sides. A completed, signed Kids Care registration form must be on file before your child may participate in our program.
