• La Tercera Elementary School has an active group of parents, caregivers, community members, and teachers whose goal it is to make our school a great place for learning. We work hard to raise money through various fundraisers and donations to help support the programs and activities that enrich our children’s lives, while supporting activities that help build a strong sense of commUNITY.

La Tercera PTA meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, in the Staff Room.

What does PTA support at our school?

La Tercera's PTA support our students in so many ways! From organizing and hosting fun community events to funding teacher and school projects, our PTA does incredible things that impact our students everyday!

    Watch for great events like:

Class List Social at the beginning of the year!

    Annual Walk-a-Thon!

    Star Pary/Book Fair Kick Off!

    Harvest Festival Community Event

    Book Fair

    Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

PTA also supports student learning by:

Donations of $200 per teacher to buy needed start-up supplies at the beginning of the year

Field trips-busses $1,000 per grade level

    Mini-Grants for teacher projects

Assemblies  like Walk Thru History for 4th and 5th grade

Eastside Relays (PTA pays for shirts)

Robotics Team (PTA pays for shirts)

    School-wide Art project

Public school funds do not cover everything our school has decided is important for our children's education. So like most schools, we look to PTA to close gap to help us. We need  energized, creative and caring parents, like you, eager to  take the helm of PTA executive board positions and sub-committees. You will work directly with me, the principal and other parents who want to take our school to the next level of support for our fabulous teachers, programs and community/spirit events. We encourage multiple people running for the same job; the executive board positions are elected positions and we encourage a lot of support from parents for the much needed sub committees.  Your students are so proud when the see what you are doing as their parent to support their education!

Be the change you want to see at La Tercera, your STEM elementary school, and have fun with a great group of parents, teachers, staff and students!
