They say that April showers bring May flowers, and appreciation is blooming in Old Adobe Union. This week was staff appreciation week, which includes parent led activities, treats for the staff from the Board, a staff appreciation luncheon at each site on Friday, and other site based efforts. Next week on Friday we take some time to appreciate our amazing parent and community volunteers who do so much to make Old Adobe Union special. Over the last several years the number of parent volunteers has grown- as has the size and activity of our PTA/PTO at each site. Also in May is when we hold an Open House at each school. This celebratory event honors and appreciates the amazing work of our students. Each room practically bursts with amazing art, writing, projects, and other student led efforts.
