The Old Adobe Union School District has many great things happening to begin our new year.

The Old Adobe School District has a new dual-immersion program underway.  Some kindergarteners and first graders are learning English while those who are fluent in English are learning in Spanish.  The exciting part of this is that the parents were so anxious for this program that they worked to put it in place and we are working to continue its growth to include more grades in the coming years.

In three of our schools a program called, Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) is being used.  This is a very powerful art-based program that builds critical thinking.  To learn more about this program you can visit their web site.
